Nokia Asia Pacific Region, including 13 countries, has become one of the fastest growing regions in the Nokia corporate map. With the mission of growing the business faster and more innovative, Nokia APAC contacted Metizo to initiate a mentoring program for the regional directors to further develop people leadership and internal communications. As the participants are based in different countries, it adds the difficulties for Nokia to track their learning need and progress.
Solution
With the specific adjustment to the need of the client, Metizo successfully launched the mentoring program by combining training, individualized coaching, distant support and follow up, E-learning, and case study. Metizo also trained HR professionals in different countries to better support the learning need.
Outcomes
With the unique approach of the mentoring program, Nokia APAC directors gained rich learning experiences which allowed them to gain deep understanding of self-inspirations, career dynamics, and better identify their own development priorities. The program also provided a platform for senior leaders to exchange management expertise, and share common challenges and best practices.
The program not only supported the leadership development of the organization, but also successfully established a strong mentoring culture inside the company.
