Metizo China has built the strategic partnership with Volkswagen China for 4 years. To support the fresh blood’s career challenges inside the company, China Trainee Mentoring program was kicked off in Jan 2010 and led to a concrete ending in August, 2010.
4 senior HR managers accompany the development of 12 fresh graduates from the 1st universities in China as mentees. They have the regular communication supported by Metizo’s training, tutorials, individual coaching, and validation interview on the Personal Enterprise Plan.
China trainees are experiencing the 18 months job rotation in different departments then define the preferred position in Volkswagen Group. One of this program’s purposes is to help them to build up a long-term career plan aligned with the company’s strategic development.
According to the trainees: “This program helped us understand better ourselves and clarify the future career path in Volkswagen. Meanwhile, I have the opportunity to learn more from the mentors at a higher level and bigger picture”.
