Euromed Management school (previously known as Euromed Marseille École de Management) decided to put Personal Development at the core of its pedagogy, thus leading the way in the early 90s. It is now the 2nd ranked Management school in the Mediterranean basin.
The positioning of Euromed Management as “the school that creates no clone” demanded the reception of usable, individual deliverables.
Close to 1000 students per year go through the Metizo process, from undergraduates to the MBA population including a very unique maritime executive MBA. This makes it the world’s largest program of it’s kind.
The school wanted to develop an innovative method to help students define their futures and build their own Personal Enterprise Plan which would have a measurable impact on their careers.
Solution
Personal Development is defined as a set of competencies with the possibility of assessing results that the school guarantees to employers. The objective is to familiarize students with Personal Development concepts and tools through:
- Report on another student 720° Assessment and Coaching
- Personal Competency Grid, indicating the skills and expertise to be acquired to succeed in a personal project
- Personal Enterprise Plan elaborating student’s professional and personal strategies
- Report based on internship
- Report based on International experience (Social and Cultural aspects)
- Oral Certification Interview during which students present their PEP.

Since 2002 Euromed Management has risen from 22nd to 8th position in the French Business Schools ranking, which can be correlated with Metizo’s added value.
