Metizo China has built a partnership with DHL Air Courier China for developing people leadership standards for future leaders. Due to the fast expansion in last decade, the leadership development for DHL Air Courier China has stepped into a critical stage to better support the business growth.
During the vendor selection, DHL evaluated top training firms in the competitive market. Catherine Peyrols and Michelle Wang, working with Metizo’s Board Member, Frank Gallo, customized and presented the program. Metizo China won due to the deep understanding of customer needs and the comprehensive training methodologies.
On 12th Sept 2008, the DHL Mentoring Program was kicked off in Shenzhen Hall of Beijing Headquarter. It targets for General Managers as mentors and Cluster Department Managers as mentees. In the evening, DHL held a big dinner inviting the participants and Metizo consultants to cheer a prosperous journey for the participants.
Zhou Jian, the North China General Manager is building an encouraging environment for personal development across the functional departments and locations. According to Mr.Zhoujian: ‘We are promoting the development culture and leadership dialogues between managers and employees. Nobody is too busy to be a mentor/mentee and tomorrow’s success depends on today’s action. Metizo program exactly matches the spirit with a 9-month delivery.’
Metizo Beijing Consultants Catherine Peyrols also shared her experience in getting this contract: ‘The new program represents a half year of work to find the right match with DHL. The success of 2008 program will set as standard to be one of development strategies applied for development planning for DHL China. We are confident and prepared to deliver a successful program.’
