Lingnan is considered the leading business school in South China and ranked among the top five in the country. Belonging to Sun Yat Sen University (Zhong Shan in Chinese) its Guangzhou campus is also one of the most beautiful in China. Metizo began working with Lingnan in 2009 on the invitation of Dean Shu who was looking for a high quality personal development program for students. Metizo launched a certification program as part of the curriculum for international MBA students. This included an academic course with follow up and support from the MBA staff leading to an individual certification interview based on Metizo’s career tool, the Personal Enterprise Plan. The Metizo team of Mary Yu, Xie Yi and Bob Aubrey conducted certification interviews in April.
The idea of the partnership between Lingnan and Metizo was to transfer the program for internal management, which would allow the thousands of undergraduate students on the new Jinan campus. On 21 April, Bob Aubrey conducted a training for the MBA team as well as the Undergraduate team to help them build their own personal development program as part of Lignan’s strategic positioning in the quality business education market.
